  15. <p>     SENTENCED. ROSARIO AMES, 41, wife of Aldrich Ames, former CIA
  16. employee who spied for the Soviets; to 5 1/4 years for abetting
  17. her husband's treason; in Alexandria, Virginia. Rosario received
  18. the shortest possible sentence under the plea-bargain arrangement
  19. between her and the federal prosecutors. With time off for good
  20. behavior and time already served, Rosario, who now claims she
  21. was coerced into assisting Aldrich's espionage, could be out
  22. of prison in three years and eight months. Her husband is currently
  23. serving a life sentence without the possibility of parole.
